William Armstrong b1782 Antrim

Does anyone have any information re the following person's parents?

William Armstrong b 23 Dec 1782 in Lisburn.

I gather he went to Virginia, America with his family in 1792. I have a lot of info regarding his life after his arrival, but am keen to trace his lineage.

A tree I was given years ago appears to have his pedigree starting in 1666 with a James Armstrong & Mary Yeates (marriage?). Then 26 Apr 1704 James Armstrong and Mary Campbell, followed on 21 July 1725 by John Armstrong and Elizabeth Bleakey. 14 Nov 1775 James Armstrong and Elizabeth Turnbull, then a James Armstrong and Eliza Aillen (Aitken?) - no dates. William b1782 is next.
From info I've seen it appears he may have wed Elizabeth McCarty in Virginia, America in 1810. Also, I'd like confirmation of the above.
