Maguire Castle Street and Parlimentary Road Glasgow

Hi, I have these two addresses listed in 1928 and 1930 for a Mrs Rosella Maguire. I found these on a passenger list for a Margaret Maguire going to Canada. If I could find out the names of any other's living at that address it might narrow it down to see if I am looking at the right people. Wondering if anyone has any tips. Thanks

Go to www.scotlandspeople.gov.uk and search in the Valuation Rolls. These list only the householder, so they will only list Mrs Maguire once she becomes a widow, so you have a starting point for looking for her husband.

Make best use of wild cards - search for m*guire and ros* as spellings can vary.
Never trust anything you find online (especially submitted trees and transcriptions on Ancestry, MyHeritage, FindMyPast and other commercial web sites) unless it's an image of an original document - and even then be wary because errors can and do occur.

That's amazing. I have a feeling it's these people, http://www.census.nationalarchives.ie/pages/1901/Londonderry/Claudy/Claudy_Village/1527532. The ages are a bit off, and some missing, its been hard trying to track them down

You need to take a look at the original of that 1911 census to see what Rosella's marital status is, and where they were all born.

Sarah Maguire, parents Patrick Maguire and Rosella Ferris, was born in Claudy on 12 May 1900.

Margaret Clare Maguire, parents Patrick Maguire and Rosella Ferris, was born in Claudy on 17 April 1899.

Roseanna Maguire. other surname Ferris, died in Glasgow Bridgeton in 1939, aged 71.

Edward James Maguire, mother's maiden surname Ferris, died in Glasgow in 1974, aged 65. I think 'Elis James' in the 1911 census index may be Edward James - she is listed as male.

Edward James Maguire was born in Glasgow Dennistoun in 1908.
