Who is John's father?

I am trying to find out who John Heywood's father is.  John was born in 1826 in Manchester.  I thought I had found his father as William c1794 married to Mary Maria Taylor (or Naylor) c1804, but their son John was born c1835, then I found a John Heywood 1802 married to Alice Greenhaugh 1800 with a John around the correct date, but according the to census he never married.  I have John 1826 married in 1850 to Alice Heaton c1829 and are on the 1851 census as living at 19 Rollinson Street.  According to all he census they are the right people as I have been able to come down and verify all the children and their offspring as being related to me.  I just don't know where to look to find John's father and mother, and would be grateful for your help.

When John Heywood/Haywood married Alice Heaton in 1850 he named his father as John Haywood.
Is this the marriage you are referring to

He is a visitor in the Sutton household.

There is a baptism (image on Ancestry) for the baptism 26 January 1826 at Manchester Parish Church, for a John Heywood parents John and Elizabeth. Father's occupation is given as 'Maker up of .....' but I cannot work out the last word.

heywood - I am wondering if John's mother has died as emelton has found a baptism where his parents could be John and Elizabeth.
I is possible that John's mother has died and his father married Martha, who, as it happens, I have a note of in my bits and pieces.
