Unsure if you are referring to me, but, I can assure you I worked from the original photo... repaired, cleaned and coloured.
Peter made me aware of the protocol a few days ago.

 Hi PatBot Well Carol is not refering to me and I'm the only other Pat on here. Carol knows I always do my own restoration and if I was going to add colour, I would use my own work.

I have just overlaid japeflake's restore with the coloured version at 40% opacity to show how alike they are.  The coloured one seems to be a coloured version  of JP's restore.

I will say this once more... Peter made me aware of not using other peoples restores... the work I did was from the original photograph.

That's board etiquette, there is no problem with using other people's work if permission is granted and the restorer is acknowledged.
