I am trying to find some information about an ancestor and I need some help please....
George Liddell Robson - Born 1835
(give or take a year) in Gateshead
(sometimes uses Liddell in name and sometimes does not). Parents - Peter Robson
(died 1842) and Jane Liddell
FACT: 1841 Census - Living with Parents and Siblings in Gateshead
FACT: 1851 Census - Living with Mam and Sister in Gateshead
FACT: 1861 Census - Living with his 1st Wife
(Sarah Wright) and 1st born Son, George in Gateshead
FACT: 1871 Census - MISSING.......
FACT: 1875 - 1st Wife
(Sarah Wright) dies in Gateshead
FACT: 1881 Census - Living with Sarah Elsdon in Gateshead
FACT: 1885 - Married Sarah Elsdon
FACT: 1891 Census - Living with Wife and Children in Gateshead
FACT: 1901 Census - Living with Wife and Children in Gateshead
FACT: 1911 Census - Living with Wife and Children in Gateshead
FACT: 1911 - Death in November 1911 in Gateshead, aged 75
I am unable to find a birth record for George and also unable to find him on the 1871 census. There is a George Robson
(similar birth year and place) in prison in Milbank listed on the 1871 census, but after some research I am sure this is not the right George Robson.
Can anyone help?
