« on: Tuesday 06 April 21 20:46 BST (UK) »
Thomas P. Dorrington married Lilian Hageman in Islington M1/4 1922  (free BMD ref 1b 428.)

Looking for Thomas Dorrington's middle name, age when married and father's name if possible.

Many thanks.

There is a possible death in 1932 which gives the DOB as abt 1869, and age at death as 63. (Hendon 3a 625).

Can't see a probate record to confirm address/executor etc.

1928 electoral roll gives full name as Thomas Piper Dorrington, 196 Blundell Road, Hendon.  Also living at that address is Lillian Dorrington

1911 census puts his place of birth as Plymouth, Devon.  It also suggests that he was already married, but wife is not listed on census with him.  Only person with him is a 13 yr old visitor William Hanson Place.

First wife seems to have been Augusta Helston.  Looks like she didn't die until 1936 (address given on probate is 7 Melbourne Street, Plymouth) so perhaps an unofficial separation had taken place sometime between the 1901 census (both Thomas and Augusta are in Plymouth) and the 1911 census?

Sorry, just noticed that you wanted father's name too - potentially parents were Henry and Susan Dorrington (as per 1871 census RG10; Piece: 2120; Folio: 10; Page: 13)  Susan's maiden name looks to have been Piper (marriage between Henry Dorrington and Susannah Piper Sept qtr 1860, East Stonehouse 5b 471)

Still there in 1929, but in 1930 the couple have moved to 107 Watling Avenue

In 1922, Lilian's parents (John Frederick and Elizabeth Hageman) are at 221 Essex Road, Islington.
