I am trying to find some history for William Healey listed on the 1939 Register; XDCH Carmarthen 599-3 . 18 Blue Street, Carmarthen. At present, I know nothing about him, why he was living there, or where he originated. Finding answers may create a detour around my dead end.
Resident 9 of 9, William Healey, General Labourer, has been transcribed as being born 18 Feb 1868 or 1888. There has been a confusing amendment, so which year was he born? By 1939, that would make him 69 or 49 years old. In that quarter for England and Wales, there three births registered in 1868 and two in 1888. It says he is married, but no wife is listed at that address.

I also found this one on FreeBMD:
Birth: William Reuben Healey . Jan-Mar 1888 . Pontypridd . Volume 11a . Page 466. Wanting to find the mmn, I checked the GRO and it was not offered, even when I used the quarter, year, volume and page. I believe I found him on a 1911 census in Maesteg. From the others, their mmn is Edwards.
Death: William R Healy . 73 (Est: 1889) . Jan-Mar 1962 . Carmarthen . Volume 8A . Page 285.
Having died in Carmarthen, there is a connection, but there could also be a link to Dudley, which is why I need to be sure.
