Did J & J have a son named Thomas ? - not found a baptism to confirm

Thomas LYTH
Burial 25 Sep 1825 Chorlton-Cum-Hardy, Lancashire
Father: Joseph Mother:   Jane

I'm wondering if this is the death of J & J's son John

John Lyth age 39 (c1837)
1876 Jun Chorlton Lancashire Volume:   8c Page:   435

and the death of son Samuel

Samuel Lyth age 16 (c1830) abode Chorlton-Upon-Medlock
Burial 26 Nov 1846 Chorlton cum Hardy, St Clement, Lancashire

I wondered if witness Margaret Lyth was the wife of John Lyth (son of Joseph & Jane) or perhaps a relative of the family

Not had any luck with a marriage but found a possibility for a John Lyth age 22 born Salford, single, warehouseman on 1861 census RG 9; Piece: 2890; Folio: 36; Page: 21

This maybe a coincidence but thought I'd post just in case.....

There is a Margaret Lyth daughter of Samuel & Margaret Lyth
1841c Cheshire HO107; Piece: 103; Enumeration District: 17; Folio: 6; Page: 6 Margaret age 6,
& Caroline age 1 (GRO mmn HOLT), all noted as not born in this county

Samuel is also a Brewer perhaps he is a brother of Joseph you would need to investigate further

Margaret Lyth Birth 15 Feb 1835
Baptism 29 Mar 1835 Manchester, St Mary, St Denys and St George
Father    Samuel Lyth occ Brewer MotherMargaret

Samuel LYTH. labourer & Margaret HOLT married 2 Feb 1818 Manchester, St Mary, St Denys and St George

Samuel LYTH Age: 49 (c1794) Burial 2 May 1843 Chorlton cum Hardy, St Clement,

Joseph Lith
Baptism    21 Sep 1800 Whixall, Shropshire
Father:   John Mother:    Sarah

Whixall - very close to Coton too!

I read the signature as Margaret on first glance.

There is this possible baptism - no image

Samuel LYTH Baptism 23 Feb 1794 Hanmer, Flint, Wales
Father:   John Lyth Mother:   Sarah

Samuel LYTH Baptism 23 Feb 1794 Hanmer, Flint, Wales
Father:   John Lyth Mother:   Sarah

Hanmer is quite a way from the Shropshire area that they gave in the censuses. I'd say it's a non-starter. The Whixhall one sounds the most likely.

I see what you mean......I couldn't find a baptism in Shropshire for Samuel born c 1794  ???

I was trying to see if I could find a possible connection to Joseph Lyth, a shame Samuel Lyth died before 1851 census

Note that on the 1841, mentioned on first post, Joseph is down as 39, so the Whixhall one is looking the most likely - bpt Sept 1800

Thank you so, so much for everything you have found!  You have taken so much time searching and posting and I really appreciate it.  I don't think I would have found half of what you have done.
