Clewer/Spittal/Windsor Archives
« on: Friday 09 April 21 18:01 BST (UK) »
I'm looking for archives relating to Clewer Spittal and/or Windsor and wondering if there's anywhere in Windsor town which holds archives - in particular poor law and bmds circa 1680-1780

TIA

All census look up transcriptions are Crown Copyright http://www.nationalarchives.gov.uk/

Thank you, but getting to Reading will be difficult, whereas there's an opportunity to visit Windsor.

Berkshire Record Office in Reading holds the workhouse records, not the library.

and I'm pretty certain that the originals (rather than transcripts) of Parish registers are at Reading.
