Date please - Edwin White - Hampshire

Hi everyone

Please could I have your thoughts on the date of this photo?

I was told by someone it's 1860's but the person it has been identified as long ago is Edwin White, who was born in 1874. So as you can see there is a discrepancy in the timeline of the supposed person

It looks like 1860s card stock possibly into the early 1870s before the corners became rounded in early/mid 1870.

Agree with Carol except to say 1860's rather than into the 1870's.

Thank you, so the fact that it's meant to be someone born in 1874 who appears to be about 5 years old would make it about 1879 and not in keeping with what you see at all.....
