Kirby Wiske - Monumental Inscriptions
« on: Sunday 11 April 21 11:43 BST (UK) »
Has anyone access to the MI's for Kirby Wiske ?
FindMyPast indicates that there is a stone for Timothy Horsman  (d. 1793).  I wondered what his inscription says.

Thanks

You can purchase a PDF download of the MIs for St John the Baptist, Kirby Wiske from Cleveland FHS for £1.50.  You don't have to be a member of the CFHS to purchase it.  It includes Maunby too.

https://clevelandfhs.org.uk/product/kirby-wiske-maunby-nry-2/

There is a CD version "North & South Otterington" which includes N & S Otterington, Maunby & Kirby Wiske, £5.50.

A4 printout version Kirby Wiske & Maunby costs £2.50 plus P&P.

I bought a couple of PDFs a few weeks ago and was able to view them almost immediately, sorry not for Kirby Wiske!  For the CD and paper versions it says allow 28 days.

For anyone else interested in the Cleveland and North Yorkshire area, this is the link to CFHS's website Shop:

Their website has recently undergone a major makeover.  The PDFs are a good resource at a very reasonable price.
