George Jupp b1814 Bermondsey. Looking for 1851 census.
« on: Monday 12 April 21 19:12 BST (UK) »
I have george Jupp b1814  Bermondsey to Charles and Elizabeth (nee Croxson) Jupp.

He married Hannah Nevill in 1838 and was widowed 1841. He then married Anorah (possibly Honora) Clifford in 1841 in shoreditch. They had the following children: thomas 1842, Charles 1846 and george 1851. All registered city of london. George married Jemima Garden in 1858 at St Luke, Berwick Street, London. She was a widow, born in Kent, maiden name Martin.

I can’t find him (or any of the family) in 1851. I also can’t find Anorah’s death either and was hoping that the 1851 might give a clue as to the place. I also can’t find her birth or her in the 1841. Matriage says she was a servant of full age.

He moves around a bit, but all three have Charles as his father and Charles’ occupation as a dyer. So I’m sure it’s the same george.

Any help appreciated.

Possible death for Ann/Honora/Anorah? On a couple of the baptisms she's named as Ann.

Ooh that’s brilliant. Thank you.
I saw that death, but wasn’t sure with the name Ann. However, the dates and place fit ... and now with Ann on the census as well.
Thanks again.
