Hi S13P, Just a thought ... if you get Isabella Gordon's marriage or baptism records look out for the place name "Navidale". That might be a useful link, because Navidale is the place William Gordon died and was living in the 1841 and 51 census.

Oh very good thought. Thank you. I found the marriage but it’s just a single line on a page.
Donald Sutherland Canvonovy ?? Lairg to Isabel Gordon Kildoran. There are 2 records would the other one say more? Or would I be wasting credits?

I will look at a few more birth records tonight. Sp here I come!!

This record in Isabel's parish might have a place name for her. Marriage banns don't tend to say much more.
