Help Required Identifying a WW1 Uniform
« on: Thursday 15 April 21 09:48 BST (UK) »
Hi Rootsdchatters, help required in trying to identify the uniform of my g. uncle who was involved in WW1. His parents emigrated to S. Africa early 1900's (my g. uncle was born in 1891). The photograph states on the rear 'on leave in UK 29/09/18'. I was wondering if this is a S. African uniform or whether he stayed/returned to the UK to enlist.
Any help would be appreciated. regards, Paul
