How much do you expect the 1921 census to help your research?
« on: Thursday 15 April 21 12:05 BST (UK) »
I'm wondering if it will really help me at all. My gaps are much further back - pre 1837, so what would help me would be more images of older parish records on line.
Berks / Oxon: Eltham, Annetts, Wiltshire (surname not county), Hawkins, Pembroke, Partridge
Dorset / Hants: Derham, Stride, Purkiss, Sibley
Yorkshire: Pottage, Carr, Blackburn, Depledge
Sussex: Goodyer, Christopher, Trevatt
Lanark: Scott (soldier went to Jersey CI)
Jersey: Fowler, Huelin, Scott

Not at all with my own tree, although it will be interesting to see my mother's details on there as she was born 1920.

In a tree I'm helping someone with, I'm hoping it will establish when a family moved, as we know by the births of children,  that they were there in 1920 but gone by 1922.

Hoping it will help me find at least a few  individuals who seem to have gone missing since 1911

I don’t think it will assist with my direct ancestors very much but might help with some of the mysterious tangents I tend to get distracted by.

My very thoughts Louisa Maud. FindMyPast are already hiking their prices up by withdrawing the cheaper subscriptions.

I'm waiting impatiently for the 1921.  I want to pinpoint my parents and grandparents.  I'm assuming that they are all still in Halifax, but it might help to pinpoint when one family moved to Cheshire.

As for cost - make your own choice whether to pay or not - but maybe don't ask someone else to provide the information.   :-* :-X
Transcriptions and NBI are merely finding aids.  They are NOT a substitute for original record entries.
Remember - "They'll be found when they want to be found" !!!
If you don't ask the question, you won't get an answer.
