Occupation on census and Margret Street, Shoreditch
« on: Tuesday 20 April 21 07:19 BST (UK) »
Can anyone read Mary Dyson's occupation on the 1841 census please?

Also, she was living at Margret Street, Shoreditch, which I cannot find on a map. Does anyone know where this was?

Thanks

Possibly "Linen Draper"

Transcriptions and NBI are merely finding aids.  They are NOT a substitute for original record entries.

This is the Enumerator's walk, may be of some help in locating Margaret Street.

Thank you.
Linen draper makes sense as at least one brother was in that trade.

Found the street. Thanks
