What parish is this?
« on: Tuesday 20 April 21 12:34 BST (UK) »
Hi everyone,

I'm trying to work out which parish this is, for a Mary Morgan who married a William Porter in October 1789 in Liverpool at St Peter's Church.

I have two examples of the brides parish given, one from the the church records and one from the bishop's transcripts.

It's possible that this includes a profession stuck on the end, as the grooms profession is given. Also, I know that in the bishops transcript it mentions that the marriage was by licence.

I'll attach the first one in this post and then post the second to deal with file size issues.
;D Doing my best, but frequently wrong ;D
:-* My thanks to everyone who helps me, you are all marvellous :-*

I think it's Nannerch, Flintshire.

And so do I.
Transcriptions and NBI are merely finding aids.  They are NOT a substitute for original record entries.
