have  been asked to find out more about Benjamin Lewis  born 5 May 1852  in Wales
His father was \John Lewis
When Benjamin was a teenage ( sorry was not told when) he emigrated to USA
 I have tried to find this man to an avail  please can someone help
 His family in Ohio would like to know where he was born

Do you know where he settled in Ohio? There's a few mentions of Benjamin Lewises in the area in the newspapers which it may be possible to narrow down with a location and hopefully find an article with a bit more family background

Thank you both for your help he did settle in Ohio and died there lots of info for him on familysearch.org.  There is a GRO date for a Benjamin J Lewis born  1852  no mothers maiden name included just the dash so i assume he was illigitamate.    He was born in Abergaveny could be the one
