Which parish are these Banns from?  Pauline

Pauline,

The banns are from All Saints & St Faith, Childerditch.

I've looked on the Essex Records Office site and it looks like there aren't any records for Dunton at this date. Big gap between 1752 and 1837.

Hi
FindMyPast has it as Bassett
There are some Bassit children baptised in Childerditch 1731-1740 children of John and Elizabeth.
Grace remarries a Henry Box and dies 1800 .Could the witnesses off the two marriages help?

Cideerrdrinker

The witnesses to the second marriage are James Howells and George Yates. Still looking for the first marriage record...

The date year of the banns is 1746.

It might not be clear from the screenshot but the year is definitely 1756. There aren't many records in this book and the previous one is clearly 1755 and the one after is 1756 too.

Very interesting, surely the date must be a typo? Shame there's not more detail about where the marriage took place.

Can't see any other references to Boddich in any Essex register either...
