Hello,

The 1861 Census (RG9/644/194, p.9) shows James HUSSEY as a Gunner in the Royal Marine Artillery, stationed in the Portsea Island Registration District.

I wonder if anyone could kindly confirm where I might be able to unearth details of his military career.......I have tried unsuccessfully the major genealogical sites.
