Looking for a name with date of Birth

Hi

I have an anti-tank block on a beach, the writing is hard to see.

William ........n
Born 11th 12th 1921

Any idea how I can look for who this could be?

Where is this anti-tank block?  Would I be right in thinking it was on a beach?

I wonder if the surname is Buchanan?  Quite a few William Buchanan birth registrations on Scotland's People for that name.

Unfortunately Scotland's People don't give the quarters only the years.  If his birth date was 11th December 1921 it would appear in either the DQ 1921 or MQ 1922.

Added:  There is no birth for Aberdeen so he probably didn't live there, just visited it.

No Buchanan (variations) but 11 William B*n in Aberdeenshire in 1921

Did a search on BNA

Could be a William Morrison? born 11/12/21

The person that sent me the pic is going to have another look at the block!

an 80 year old concrete block.... could be distorted in time
