And there's a John Crowley born Mar 1853 with mothers name Shay

and a corresponding death in Mar 1853 under Crawley

so it seems Crowley is a spelling to look out for.

Also I was wondering as she was Irish whether Ann (if we have the right children) was O'Shay or O'Shea.

Permutations to try anyway.

So do you think Hannah had a different mother to the other children then?

Hi its possible

Because cannot find them in 1851

Looking at the information in 1861

Dennis is 16

Johana is 12

Ellen is 10

And hannah is 8

I understand you can't be sure of ages but you would think i should have found something in 1851 ??

Regards Phil

Admissions to St Pancras workhouse, 12 March 1857
Mary Crawley 33
Denis Crawley 11
Johannah Crawley 9
Ellen Crawley 7
Abby Crawley 5
From 8(?) Beaumont Place. Not sure if Mary is dittoed as a servant (occupation)

Discharged 14 March 1857
Ann Crawley 43
her children
Denis Crawley 11
Johannah Crawley 9
Ellen Crawley 7
Abbey Crawley 5

So seems to have been a mix up with the mother's details.

Could Abby/Abigail be the same person as Hannah? :-\

There seem to be some missing pages at the beginning of that enumeration district, which is the first in piece 103.
