Samuel George Buick emigrated from Ireland to Brooklyn in 1922, going to his cousin John Mallon at 750 Washington Ave. Samuel was born 1889 in Ireland and had married Mary Watterson in 1918 before emigration. In 1923, Samuel's sister-in-law emigrated, going to her brother-in-law Samuel George Buick in Brooklyn, at 669 Glasslon Ave (not sure of street name as it is scribbled over). I never did find Samuel on a census but then I found his death in Manhattan, 1694 Lexington Ave.,even though I think he resided usually in Brooklyn. I never found John Mallon either or Elizabeth after emigration even though in 1927, she returned from Ireland to her own home at 2095 Nostrand Ave., where her cousin Mary Watterson also lived.
Samuel's parents were William Buick and Eliza Donnelly and that is how I know that I found the right date of death as his parents are given.
Can anyone find his death certificate or an obituary for Samuel? I am wondering if he remarried and who he was residing with in Brooklyn.
thanks for any help
Peggy

Googling 669 Glasslon Ave Brooklyn got 669 Classon Ave as a result.

Thank you Sandra for the link to the information. I phoned the Family History Center and apparently I can see the image if I go to the local center which is a short drive from me. However, the center is presently closed due to Covid. I learned also that when you use the film number and there an image of a camera with a key above it, that means that the image is not available online.

I have heard that people use the Family History Center's wifi from outside the building on their laptops to access things that are available there while they are closed.  It's probably beyond me technologically to figure out how to do that or what images it applies to, but apparently it's a thing.
