Sophia TEAT née GILBERT died aged 76 at the Alms Cottages in Waltham Abbey on 25 Dec 1899, the widow of William TEAT, a boot maker.
Seeing as it appears husband William was buried in Waltham Abbey Cemetery it seems likely that Sophia might have been too. Have you had a look for any records for the cemetery?
In case you haven't seen already, there appears to be a lot of newspaper references to William, in his public roles at Waltham Abbey. Most recorded under the name Mr W Teat.
