Mary Churnside

Hi

I am looking for a Mary Churnside born in 1814 in England, she married an Isaac W Denning who was born in Pennsylvania around 1812-1814 he was a shovel maker. I do not have much information on her and where she was born exactly.

Mary and Isaac had a few children one was an Albert Scott Denning and a Stephen C denning.

Hope I can find anything on her with anyone's help. Many thanks in advance

There appears to be a Mary Ann Churnside baptised on15 July 1814 at Tynemouth, Northumberland.

Parents are given as William whose occupation is mariner and Mary Ann.  Residence at the time was Stephenson Street.

There is a marriage of a William Churnside to a Mary Ann Halfnight on 18th July 1813 at Tynemouth, Northumberland.

Witnesses given as Catharine and Christopher Freeman.

There is a tree on Ancestry,  but that doesn't have a marriage.

Got the 1850 and 1860 census and that she died in 1863 in Allegheny, Pennsylvania

Could you give us some idea as to when the children of your Mary were born, the eldest would be most useful  :)

I think she may have married William Forster in March 1832.  I can't see them on census though to confirm. Found in 1851 see next post

Found that family in 1851, Mary was age 36 so would fit with that baptism found by GG.
