Hi Grizzly
I was looking at two marriages for Lillian Linnane
1923 to Daniel Harty

https://civilrecords.irishgenealogy.ie/churchrecords/images/marriage_returns/marriages_1923/09185/5322315.pdf
Daniel may have died as ex Garda 1955
https://civilrecords.irishgenealogy.ie/churchrecords/images/deaths_returns/deaths_1955/04423/4154455.pdf

and 1914 to Thomas William Beggs
https://civilrecords.irishgenealogy.ie/churchrecords/images/marriage_returns/marriages_1914/09865/5583306.pdf

Turns out Thomas Linnane joined Guinness March 1902 and left March 1910

Yes Dathai, the person im helping out (or you/others helping out I should say) knew about the 2nd marriage to Haverty but was unaware of Biggs, I had an idea that the 'brewery policeman' mentioned on the cert would have been relating to Guinness's due to their custom of employing ex-soldiers/war veterans.
it's interesting that she gave her name as 'Linnane' on her marriage cert in 1923, considering she had married Sgt Biggs?
Think a bit of research into Sgt Biggs might be needed now?

At the time of Lillian's marriage Sep 1914 most of the Duke of Wellington's Regiment had just left Portobello barrack's for war at the front they were due to leave Aug 13th so Thomas Biggs may have been a recruiting Sergeant hard to tell if there were any later Battallions sent out

at the time of her marriage Lillian was probably in the employ of Mrs Catherine Mooney a Pawnbroker, wife of Thomas Mooney a police pensioner
