I have found that it can sometimes take several tries to get the half-price offer to come up.  Both when trying to subscribe myself, and when helping someone else.  Always got there in the end, so be persistent.

I'm afraid it looks as if this may have been stopped. People on several groups I'm in have said they can't get it today. The offer comes up but when they click to apply it, it reverts to 6 months. Luckily I renewed last week.

But have they kept trying, or did they give up after the first click?

No they have kept trying and are people who have used it before.

Some people have managed to get it by calling Ancestry, but others have just been told they don't have any offers at the moment - it seems to depend who you speak to.

That code ("HALF50") didn't work for me. If I have time tomorrow I'll try phoning ancestry to see if they'll let me use the original offer that stopped working last week.
