Win/Whinn family at Upwell, ~1770-1800
« on: Monday 03 May 21 13:32 BST (UK) »
My ancestors William Leavis and Ann Whinn married on 15 October 1792 in Upwell, Norfolk. They had four children in the first 14 years after their marriage.

The marriage is the first trace I can find of Ann Whinn.

On FreeReg there's a candidate baptism record for Susanna WENN, baptism on 15 Mar 1767 in Upwell, parents William and Martha. Unfortunately I don't have any burial or death index for Ann Whinn, so her year of birth is only a rough guess. She probably died before 1838 as her husband William remarries in 1838 and indicates to be a widower.

Genetic genealogy has recently shown relatedness to descendants of the couple Elizabeth Win and James Meens (Means), married 7 June 1796 Upwell, Norfolk.
Unfortunately I cannot find candidate baptism records for Elizabeth.

Are there better sources for Upwell parish records than FreeReg ?
