Thank you Boo.

It does not help that F M P has not listed it with a birth place either.  :).  Also they have not linked the right image to the transcript  ::).

Hi sunnyboy

I too have failed to find burials for your John and Mary, but whilst firkling around I found that Oldham St Presbyterian Kirk had a churchyard, as did St Andrew's Presbyterian (which seems to have been formed when part of the Oldham St Congregation left to start their own kirk).

https://toxtethparkcemetery.co.uk/Inscriptions%20Epitaphs%20&%20Memorials.html

(see bottom of that page)

Those interred at Oldham St Churchyard seem to have been removed to Everton Cemetery in 1928.
Everton cemetery is run by Liverpool City Council so an enquiry to them may tell you if there was a record of the names of the people whose remains were removed?

There seems to be a register of graves for St Andrew's Rodney St 1825-1854 and 1867 which would cover the time frame you have. Not sure if Liverpool Archives have a copy, worth asking.

Family Search have digitisted images of Monumental inscriptions for Oldham St  and St Andrew's Rodney St, so they'd be worth looking through, just in case?

https://www.familysearch.org/search/catalog/553771?availability=Family%20History%20Library

and this is a link to the National Records of Scotland holdings for St Andrews which appears to include those grave registers and a lot of other good stuff which may be of interest.

All of the above is a long shot but having failed using the usual sources, its the best I can come up with.

Boo

Many thanks for the info Boo & sorry for my late reply.
I'll look at the options you mention & see what I can find.
Thank you once again, very much appreciated.
