Yes they are all correct, there was also a birth in Egypt, Thomas circa 1891.

Whoa - where did that come from? Born before his marriage in 1892; Thomas Linnane was in the East Indies 1883-1896, not Egypt.

I think its possibly an error, there were error's regs number of years married on census forms (which caused confusion/assumptions on my behalf) annie stated she had been married 7yrs when in fact it was 17...perhaps the confusion stemmed from her mental state at time of filling out census form as Thomas snr had committed sucide a few months previous? leaving her with a young family.

I found a marriage for Lillian in Sept 1914 also to a Sgt in the Duke of Wellington regt stationed at Portobello barracks, his name was Sgt Thomas William Biggs, looks like he was just about to move off to 'The Front'.

So there wasn't a son Thomas born in Egypt or one born in 1891. Order is restored.
