Whereas upon difference ariseing
sorry, should have said bracket after whereas. That's why the "upon" looks funny.

I wondered why a closed bracket was shown after him.

Am I reading this correctly "... about some seiling [selling] in a house..."

It’s written seiling, but perhaps means sealing (relating to the construction of the house), or even ceiling. I think it's impossible to say without more context.

there is only one other reference to the house shown lower down in the document:

...acknowledge the receipt of the sum of one pound five shillings from Robert Hall and in full satisfaction for whats left in the house...
