George Ginman and Elizabeth Pit from Portsea brick wall
« on: Wednesday 05 May 21 18:52 BST (UK) »
Hi all,
I'd like to request someone to please try and find some baptism and death records for an ancestral couple of mine who happen to be a brick wall. I'm completing a family file of all my research and would like to explore this line further. The couple in question are George Ginman and Elizabeth Pit. They are recorded as being married in St Mary's, Portsea Island in 1793. Notably, the surname is also recorded as Jinman. They had two children that I know of: Elizabeth, born 1801 (my ancestor) and George, born c.1797. Both children were baptised in Portsmouth. I would like to find out death dates for the ancestral couple, as well as hopefully baptismal records for both of them to push the line back.
Thanks,
Francis
