Pharma, misunderstandings—- out on a day trip with Ladies’ Group from church with my formidable mother in law.
She had a severe pain in her side towards the end of the day and in the coach journey home was grey with pain.
I asked exactly where it was, she touched me ,roughly waist at the front on my right side ,and round to my back a little.
I wondered was it gall stones. On returning home  I phoned   the Dr.
After the examination he asked for a urine sample as the pain was in the area where a Rt kidney infection  is felt , she was laughing at me saying gall stones, but what she had done was to point on me the side  facing  where the pain was on her,but that was her left side and my right.
Are you still with me?
We had stopped for a “ comfort break “ but at a pub!  She would not go in!
Bet she wished she had done as we had more than an hour’s travel to do !
Viktoria .
P.S,that juxtaposition thing is a curse when names are often written from Rt to Lt on old photographs, when  they ought to be written behind the people in the photo ,as we look at them.
