Deciphering Austrian Handwriting into English please

I am unsure about the second word in the place name. It looks like ?rost, but I'm not sure what is should be.

I cannot read the name of the lady who signed it.

Edit: I think it is Maria-Trost, which I believe should perhaps be written as one word.

Ahhhhhh thanks so much Karen, that’s my mother and she must have sent a picture of herself to my father - she came from Mariatrost near Graz so you’re right. But her name was Paula, so maybe it’s a sweetheart name he had for her. I really appreciate your reply, thank you!

I can't see Paula in the signature. If I squint  , then there could be aul in the middle, but the first letter doesn't really look like a P and the last bit looks more like a g.

So yes, maybe a sweetheart name.

My husband read this. German is his mother tongue and immediatly said 'Paula'.

This could Paula and was her individual way of signing.
A unfinished "P" at the beginning and a fancy downwards stroke finishing the last letter "a"
