Henry Kent Sr. who may have immigrated to Colonial Maryland in 1653
« on: Saturday 08 May 21 02:02 BST (UK) »
Henry Kent (1625-1677) is shown in a land grant as arriving in Maryland in or before 1653.  The record does not say whether he migrated from colonial Virginia or directly from England.  His future father-in-law (William Parker) was from Stepney, London and was a part-owner of the Harborough (Shipping) Co.  Looking to find any family trace and/or record of Kent that would show where he migrated from.  If it was London, he may have had a first wife (name unknown) and two sons (Absalom & Thomas) there.
