I have William and Jane in my tree on Ancestry. I can't help with their marriage, since like you I can find no marriage for them on SP. I have seen the index for the one in Glamorgan, but I had discarded it since I see no connection with Wales for either Jane or William.

I can offer some information about Jane and William, however. Jane died on 6th Nov 1916 in Broxburn (SP 672/ 125, Uphall 1916). The informant is widower William Collligan. Her parents are given as Alexander Laurie (farmer, deceased) and Elizabeth Laurie ms ?ain (deceased). Her age is given as 62. Census returns suggest she was from Stoneykirk, but I cannot find a birth or marriage for her parents.

William remarried just a few months later to a Margaret McCracken or McCormack, herself twice widowed. Their marriage took place on 25 Jun 1917 also in Broxburn (SP 672/ 28 Uphall 1917). (Note the SP index has her as Margaretta Armstrong  or Margaretta McCracken.) The witnesses were Theresa Cafferty and William Colligan. Theresa Cafferty (ms Grant) was a daughter of Esther Shannon, William Grant Colligan's half sister.

Margaret McCracken died in 1929, and William himself on 10 Apr 1931 in Edinburgh (SP 685/7 445 Morningside, 1931). The informant is a nephew Thomas Colligan, whose address, 15 Potterrow, matches that given for William. (Note the SP index lists him as William George Colligan.)

I believe Jane and William had just one daughter, Frances D Colligan, who census returns say was born in Canongate about 1889, but I cannot find her birth on SP. She did, however, marry a James Boyter in 1912 and died on 26 Jan 1960.

Spouse Elizabeth Arthur

Possible that  Jane ,Charles and Thomas are siblings.

I can't see a marriage for Jane in PRs so probably a civil ceremony.

You are very welcome, Heather. You sent me a wonderful photograph of my great grandmother Esther Shannon a couple of years ago, so I am happy to repay the favour a little. I am descended from Esther and her husband John Grant. The Theresa Cafferty I mentioned above was my mother's Aunt.

I believe James Boyter and Frances Colligan had 5 children in all - William George Douglas, Harold, Winifred Frances (mentioned above) Gladys May and Barbara. Harold and Gladys both have living descendants who have trees on Ancestry. Gladys married twice, her first husband Bruce Robertson Sharp being killed during Air Operations on 11 Sep 1940. He is commemorated on the Runnymede Memorial.
