He is in  Prison in Welford Road, Leicester, from the beginning of the enumeration book.

Sorry, I can't help with his prison records. I have looked in the newspapers but nothing coming up.

Have a few Leicester references and on the school age reg. index, his birth is 4 Dec 1903. Also looked for his marriage and it is a register office marriage.

There is a report of an assault by a Jeremiah Withers, shoe hand, Smith's-cottages, Gray Street, 16th Mar 1901 in the Leicester Daily Post 24 May 1901. He was charged on a warrant and ...

had been in jail several days before he was bailed out, and the sentence of the Court now was that he be imprisoned for 14 days with hard labour.

It's quite a long article, noted this bit because of the dates, 1901 census 1 Apr

Did look at baptisims and to save anyone looking, Albert's baptism has been transcribed as Wilson, 17 Jan 1904, on my refs as Withers.
