What information are you looking for?

Just to note, on his baptism(5 April 1847 at Todmorden) it notes his birth 15 October 1846, abode: Rodwell Head, parents Barker (weaver) and Susannah.

After the birth of Simeon in Blackburn in 1876 I understand that Joseph and Louisa Stansfield had a daughter named Emma who was born and died in 1879 in Blackburn,
I've looked at the 1881 Census for the couple & Simeon but I can't find them living anywhere.

One other child showing for them:

Baptism: 2 Mar 1881 St Chad, Rochdale, Lancashire, England
David Stansfield - [Child] of Joseph Stansfield & Louisa
    Abode: 5 Spring Gardens
    Occupation: Mechanic
    Baptised by: F.P. Wright
    Register: Baptisms 1877 - 1884, Page 256, Entry 61

One each year and then nothing. I wonder if something happened with either parent?

Alan mentioned on the other thread that has been linked a likely marriage for Simeon:

Marriage: 3 Jun 1895 St John the Baptist, Great Marsden, Lancashire, England
Simeon Stansfield - 20, Weaver, Bachelor, 11 Mary Street, Great Marsden
Amelia Chatterton - 20, Card Room Hand, Spinster, 11 Mary Street, Great Marsden
    Groom's Father: Joseph Stansfield, Mechanic
    Bride's Father: Joseph Chatterton, Fireman
Witness: John Sutcliffe; Elizabeth Jane Beardwood
Married by Banns by: George A Fry
    Register: Marriages 1890 - 1898, Page 151, Entry 302

Did Simeon die young? There is a death a couple of years later which although the age at death seems light by a couple of years, would seem to fit with the details from the marriage:

Burial: 29 Jan 1898 St John the Evangelist, Great Marsden, Lancashire, England
Simeon Stansfield -
    Age: 21 years
Abode: 11 Mary St. Gt. Marsden
    Buried by: George A Fry
    Register: Burials 1895 - 1900, Page 95, Entry 756

It would appear that the Jan 1898 death record for a Simeon Stansfield age 21 of Great Marsden, born in Blackburn 1876 is the son of Joseph and Louisa Stansfield, it's not a very common name and the previous marriage record facts suggests it is.

Would still like to know where his parents are when the 1881 census was recorded.
