Thanks,I had forgotten that, ;D ;D ;D ;D

More than three quarters of the contents of my former home have  gone !
I have five rooms and a shed, had ten rooms  and  a garage and attic, built in full length wall cupboard floor to ceiling in three bedrooms!
I now hate losing one more thing!
As you say,it could well turn up.
I give cake to neighbour   and   she never gives back the container so it is paper plates now, she is lovely but a bit of memory loss ,well who hasn’t got
that.
Mattress ordered on recommendation from Silentnight’s advisory team.
A local firm with no quibble refund or exchange if when I go and lie on it I don’t think it right for me.

News of Flash Harry.
Birthday tomorrow but he will be at school so daughter gave him his present on Sunday so he had a good day with it.
An explorer’s outfit,binoculars ( nockekelers  ) pooters,magnifying glass
( magic eying glass),a jacket in jungle camouflage ,hat like big game hunters wear etc etc.
Watched a spider’s cocoon for ages , the  tiny spiders cane out but dashed back in when he gently blew on the gossamer threads.

David Attenborough is ,what 93 ? today ,gosh who will follow him, FH is a bit young yet ,!

Guess what,cool ,dull,wet here today ,
Glad I don’t have to take a dog for a walk !
You ladies have such lovely interesting walks ,there are nice ones here but you have to go a fair way to get to them and uphill ,quite steep.

I was hoping next Mayor of G.M would be a Conservative ,well the one who stood as she was all for not building on Green Belt land.
Andy Burnham back in.

Nothing much to do for main meal, sufficient from yesterday that can be reheated.
I need a new garden umbrella, seen the one I  want ,very reasonable ,but —-
if I do get one it will rain all Summer!
As soon as I bring the current one out - weather changes.
Sod’sLaw.

Trying to dry bulbs out ,no garage floor now !

Two biggish birds at the bird feeder today plus one grey squirrel .
Replenished the Meal worm container ,not interested in the fat blocks at all.
Nor peanuts or mixed food.

Planted up the spider plants and Aloe Vera shoots my friend sent me ,I need some nice plant pot containers ,oh I see a trip to Wilco’s becoming essential.

Washed hair yesterday ,in rollers ,and saw nice neighbour coming my way, so for a laugh got the sweeping brush and when he came to the door I was going to say “ I hope you have not come to tell me those darn ferrets of yours have got out again !”
A la Norah Batty !
But he passed my gate and went on, so ,I put my brush back!

Cheerio and thanks for all the news .
 Viktoria.

OH invites dog to bed with him Diana. I don’t like having her on the bed - she takes up too much room.  ;) Your little lad sounds quite quirky with his cute little eating habits. That’s so sweet.

I hope you love your new mattress Viktoria. Will it be delivered and put in situ?

I should ask him where my small serrated knife is. It was a cheap one I've had for years. Ideal for slicing tomatoes which is why I needed it yesterday evening.
Cold, blustery wind most of the day, like previous days. Went out late afternoon, dressed in warm jacket & woolly hat intending a quick, brisk walk and hoping to get home before rain but wind dropped and sun shone so I stayed out a long time.
Watched "Call the Midwife" and then the new drama "The Pursuit of Love".

You might need to look in the bin for your knife MS ... at least that's where I usually find all my peelers and useful items - thrown out with the veg peelings.

I think Caroline mentioned watching "The Pursuit of Love". It looks interesting (unsure if it will be up OH's street though). Though I have heard of her, I'm not familiar with Nancy Mitford's work.

Viktoria, I believe that David Attenborough may be even older than 93....
Threlfall (Southport), Isherwood (lancs & Canada), Newbould + Topliss(Derby), Keating & Cummins (Ireland + lancs), Fisher, Strong& Casson (all Cumberland) & Downie & Bowie, Linlithgow area Scotland . Also interested in Leigh& Burrows,(Lancashire) Griffiths (Shropshire & lancs), Leaver (Lancs/Yorks) & Anderson(Cumberland and very elusive)

I wasn’t sure  and  did not want to make him older than he actually is.
Blare of trumpets!
Found my cake plate!
I am totally embarrassed !
In a cake tin ,I must have washed it and the tin and put it inside the tin to put both away but left the plate in there instead of putting it where it lives normally.
I think it is called going funny! :-[
Peculiar - not ha ha !
Well the afternoon changed to bright and sunny but still cold with a stiff breeze ,
.
Got some washing out after stripping the bed right down ,mattress cover and all.
Daughter phones tonight so more news of Flash Harry.
Well some time yet before I can go to visit ,but things are looking a bit better .
Just hope not too much too soon.
Hope everyone is well , look after yourselves .
Cheerio.Viktoria.
