Not sure if this is the same family but my 3 times great grandmother, Jane Magee married Patrick Kane. At my 2 times great granfather wedding certificate a James and Maggie Fitzsimmons, the wedding was taken place in Saul.

I beleive this to Patrick Kanes sr. death certificate, it says a James Flitzsimmons is present at his death

John Magee a step son to Fitzsimons (Janes' brother?)

I think this is the same John in the 1911 census

Not sure if John and Cornelius would be in the same family as Jane. Would Janes mother maybe have remarried to the Fitzsimmons?

Patrick Kane died at Portloughan. James Fitzsimmons, the informant, was residing in Portloughan.

So this is more likely to be the James Fitzsimmons in 1901 census.

Yes, I was able to find out that James Flitzsimmons married Patrick Kanes sister Elizabeth Kane. At Patricks Kanes brother in laws wedding Flitzsimmons are also witness, could it be that Flitzsimmons were friends of thefamily? Unfortunately I can't look at the Magees.

I only know Jane Magee  so I can't confirm if Janes mother remained to the Flitzsimmons family or find out the rest of the family. Jane was married to Patrick and live in Walahtown. That's as far as I can go. I can't find a wedding certificate of Patrick and Jane
