Re: James Watterson and Matilda Booth. On their marriage record, the father of James was Leonard. However, I cannot find the birth of a James to Leonard Watterson and Eliza Martin. However,there is a James born 1827 to Leonard Watterson and Jane Young. So I am going with that for his parents.
I did find the birth of James' daughter Sarah Ann in 1866 so thank you very much for her information, Sandra.
