Please can anyone tell me what colours were the striped scarves c1950?

I’m restoring a pic and I need to know the colours.
Have looked online but ... no luck so far.

I did see that but am unsure.
The background in the ‘mines’ colour looks to be black but in the photo I’m restoring it looks lighter.

Have you tried contacting Imperial College itself?  They may be able to tell you what the colours were or direct you to someone who can.

I have looked at their website and trying to find a bog standard email contact is proving difficult, unless I am not looking in the right place!

However I have found the alumni email addy which you may like to start with.
