Arthur Johnson circa 1922 Lord Roberts School Winnipeg
« on: Tuesday 11 May 21 17:36 BST (UK) »
I recently came across a class photo of my fathers who passed away in 1991.   He is the light haired fellow in the first row on the left side of the black haired boy. The photo is quite blurry in some places and clear in others.  It is the original.
I wonder if my fathers image could be enhanced in any way.

Thank you and best wishes from Winnipeg

A try from me, always hard to deal with a photo of a photo through glass, hope this section is what was required, regards, John.

Thanks so much.
He is the boy between the two girls with the bows in the front row.  To the left of the dark haired boy.

Sorry if I did not make it clear.

Jim

Thank you so much.   It is really appreciated.
He looks so much  like my cousin.

My dad had a  sad younger life.  His mother died around the year that photo was taken and his fathers business  failed at that time to putting  the family  heavily into debt.
He was taken out of school at the end of Grade 6 (Canadian) and was a delivery boy to help bring in money  He joined the RCAF in 1936 where he progressed through the ranks and did very well for himself.
It is hard to think that much of his childhood was taken away.   I never knew it until I began genealogy and a Aunt told me.
