Maidie and Noel Yeo Robertson may have got married in 1927, as old friends, but they have a son who dies in the war (in 1943 age 21 - Warrant Officer J F P Robertson).
They are 'of Johannesburg, Transvaal' at the time.

Added:
Just looked on Ancestry trees, a goldmine of conflicting information for them and marriages, births and deaths all over.

Mary Elizabeth Pim /Madie Doris Pim married Mr Dodd in Aberdare in 1900, she was an actress, he was a producer/agent.
Divorce reported in July 1913 - she was living with Mr McGregor in Liverpool because she had been in the panto there (1912-1913 season I assume) , and had had a child, who was definitely MacGregor's.  That would fit with the first birthdate in 1939 of 13/12/1912 for possible daughter Miranda.  Though difficult rehearsing for a panto if heavily pregnant as a Principal BOY?? They had met in Glasgow when she was doing panto and he worked there. (1911-1912?)
As Maidie was Irish, performed in Glasgow where she met Mr McGregor in about 1911, and toured throughout UK but in Liverpool as stated, birth could have been anywhere, and under Pim, MacGregor, McGregor, Dodd, Scott surname.  Don't think birth was as Miranda.

She might not have been the mother of Miranda, could be totally a false trail, as trees do not seem to know about a child - child could have been given away.

Have applied for a will and one marriage certificate, so far.

Yes.  I think the trees that have Miranda think she is Mary D, as Mary was born in 1922.  2+2=5

Thanks avm228.
So it may be that the trees which we first looked that have Miranda in them have associated her with the wrong family  :-\
However, the divorce proceedings mention a child which would be earlier than the twins.
Hopefully the marriage certificate will help. :)
