I tend to think that emeltom might be right.
My 3 x Great Grandfather James Conroy had two children's baptism entries which stated that he was from 'Monaghan' (Ireland) and 'Lockgilley' (Ireland) in another.  No such place but it was probably Loughgilley which sounds like the latter.

If you send all the details that Jen has supplied from FamilySearch, Tyne and Wear Archives will likely supply you with a copy of the image.  This used to be £7 (likely still will be) if you already have all the info and do not require a proper search which would cost a minimum of £30.

Thanks for sharing your own story, helpful.
I will do as you say and send in what I have, and ask (very nicely) if they'd take a look.

Thanks RTL  :)

Tyne & Wear charge £30 per hour or part of hour and can take 6 weeks.

Not necessarily.

As I said earlier, confirmed by RTL, I'm sure if you can give them the precise details (which you can) they would be able to go straight to the source document and provide you with a copy and you would not be charged the sum you quote, which is for an hours research,
It is at least worth emailing them and enquiring?

Yes it's always worth enquiring, agreed.
People usually help for as little cost as possible, if they can.
Fingers crossed!
