5 Spring Gardens Wardle Rochdale-1881 Census
« on: Thursday 13 May 21 16:56 BST (UK) »
Is it possible without having a name to search to find out who was recorded as  living at the above property during the 1881 census?

Yes it is but neither Louisa, Simeon or the baby David Stansfield, who was baptised at Saint Chads in Rochdale in March 1881 were living there on the 1881 census but Joseph Stansfield was living with parents in Todmorden.

It's a mystery where Louisa and the children were living during the 1881 census, it looks like she didn't want to be found for some reason.

Can you tell us when and where Louisa and Simeon were born?  Do I take it that Joseph is Louisa's husband?

Louisa Stansfield nee Smith was born 1850 in Openshaw Lancashire, father James Smith, mother Elizabeth Smith, record found on 1861 census.
Also I can't find Louisa on 1871 census but she is on 1891 living in Heywood, on 1901 living in Todmorden & on 1911 living in Burnley but can't find her death record.

What is the name of the 10 year old son in 1891?
Do you have a birth? Is it supposed to be David?
