I'm on night shift so just a small one from me. I'll see if I can do some more on it tomorrow/today

Thanks for posting, Pat. I'm not much good at colouring so just a sepia from me. I couldn't really see a wedding ring but thought the way she's holding her hands she might displaying one, so I've put one in while trying not to be too obvious about it - if that makes sense ;D

That's lovely Peter, yes I do know what you mean, I wondered myself about the ring.  I just wish I knew who she was. This photo and about twenty more CDVs are all in a small leather bound album which I inheritited from my family.  There is only one photo in there with identification which links it to my mothers side so I presume the photos are from her side of the family.  My mother was adopted by a relative when she was about two, as her father died and she was the youngest of seven children. I can only presume these photos are from her adoptive family and so I am unable to trace them.

I can't see any signs of a ring when enlarged. Is there any chance of scanning just the hands, Pat? Large and with no compression.

I've marked where a ring could be - it's slightly higher up than normal.
