Emil Walukiewicz

I know I am asking for a miracle but can anyone create a passport style photo of this man.  It is for a gallery of Polish airmen of 304 Squadron in Britain during WW2 and it is the only photo of him that I can find.  The lady in the picture is his English wife and because it was taken in about 1942, it must have been taken around the time of their marriage as he is in civilian clothes.  I only need a head and shoulders type picture but it means removing his wife's face from it.  If that means removing the background altogether and leaving a plain background, that would be OK.  Many thanks

One from me... Although I'm not a great fan of overdoing the AI, I thought it would help to use about 60% here, as the resulting file would have been very small.

Thank you Handypandy

That's an excellent photo for my purposes.  It is to go in a gallery of Polish airmen and it looks much better than the original when used for that purpose.

I've left some background in this one, it can be removed if preferred.

Thanks Pat,

That is just fine!  I will leave the choice to his nephew who is his nearest living relative.  I don't have the skill to do this but I needed a facial photograph of just him for the memorial group.

To McGroger and japeflakes,

Thank you both for your efforts.  The results will go to his family and I am sure they will be delighted with them as the original photo is the only one they have of him as a young man.
