Thank-you for that, Ian.

Could you say when the cut-off for births and/or marriages occurs in Norway?  The daughter would be around 75, and Torleif's marriage of a similar vintage.

Also, on those records, do you know why the piece of paper is there, as it blocks out information about Torleif's parents, I think?

Just for background, Torleif's probate address in Southampton in 1979 is the same as the address on the newspaper cutting as the father-of-the-bride's address in 1969, so he is the correct man.

Cheers.
If you turn the page you will see the other page.

Ian

Added: The paper is just a note from the minister.

Hi
No worries.

I found this tree:
https://www.geni.com/people/Thorleif-Lund/6000000008934266691?through=6000000008325826395

Although his birth parish is incorrect.

You won't be able to find any records for the 60's unfortunately. I have noticed that parishes have different cutoff dates.

Thanks for that tree, did not appear when I was trying general searches, before I was convinced it was correct man.  Photo bonus.   :)

Added:
Because of my ignorance, I would not even recognise Dagny as a female name.

Yes, it is a very female name. It is pronounced loosely Dangnew.
