 Hi looking for Susannah Read/Reed born 1845 Bucknell Lincolnshire to George Read and Elizabeth Banister Her mother died abt 1855 In the 1851 census they were at Horncastle with Susan being 5years old with brothers John,Sam and sister Mary Ann By the 1861 census  father was George Reed aged 40 B. Buckworth Lincs now living as a widow in the civil parish of Billingham Durham Next time we see George he is in Nz with his sons John and Samuel, Daughter MaryAnn and Charlotte with No Susan Now on a family tree it has been stated that a Susan Read married A john Daniel REDDING that by their marriage cert and Susans death cert that its not her as this Susan Read was Irish. So where did our Susan read go to. Have looked up english marriages and deaths no joy It was said that she did come to nz but cant find her here either. The two boys came separately to the two girls and I think so did the father  Thanks lnr

Just to clarify birth registered as Susan and 1851 census has her as Susan

 Hi Yes that is her birth registration John Read came on  the Canute 1867 and Charlotte and MaryAnn on the Bluejacket 1868. not sure when the father came. Have tried to look through all the passenger lists from 1861 -1871 but unable to find George or Samuel . A lot of these have unnamed passengers.. Thanks lnr
